Empire Collegiate Hockey Conference Announces “Hockey in the Hamptons”
EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. - The Empire Collegiate Hockey Conference (ECHC) is proud to announce Hockey in the Hamptons, a marquee outdoor collegiate hockey event scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Buckskill Winter Club.
The event will feature an ECHC conference matchup between Farmingdale State College (M3) and Columbia University, bringing competitive collegiate club hockey to one of the most unique outdoor venues in the region.
“Hockey in the Hamptons” will be hosted and operated by the ECHC as part of the conference’s continued effort to elevate the overall student-athlete experience and create destination events for its member programs. The game will be played on Buckskill’s outdoor, refrigerated, NHL-size ice surface, offering a rare and memorable setting for collegiate hockey on Long Island’s East End.
The projected puck drop is set for 9:30 PM, following Buckskill Winter Club’s First Responders Hockey program.
Ticketing Information
Tickets will be available on-site at the time of the game for $5 per spectator. Additional event details will be shared closer to game day.

The game will be broadcast live and free on LI Sports Network’s YouTube channel, providing fans everywhere the opportunity to watch the event.
